PEACH COBBLER CONTEST RULES
1. Cobblers will be accepted at Porter Civic Center from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Friday, July 15, or Saturday, July 16 by 8:45 a.m.
2. A standard 2 crust cobbler made with peaches must be entered in a
non-returnable pan.
3. The name of the entrant must not be on the pan.
4. All non-refrigerated entries will be auctioned with proceeds going to
Porter Lions Club projects.
5. Attach recipe to entry - Winners announced on stage at noon Saturday.
PEACH DESSERT RULES
1. Desserts will be accepted at Porter Civic Center from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Friday, July 15, or Saturday, July 16 by 8:45 a.m.
2. Any type of peach dessert made with peaches can be entered. *ALL DESSERTS
NEEDING REFRIGERATION WILL BE JUDGED AND RETURNED TO
CONTESTANT, BUT NOT SOLD AT AUCTION.
3. All entries must be in a non-returnable pan.
4. The name of the entrant must not be on the pan.
5. All non-refrigerated entries will be auctioned with proceeds going to the Porter
Lions Club projects.
6. Attach recipe to entry- Winners announced on stage at noon Saturday.
PEACH/NECTARINE SPREAD CONTEST
1. Peach/nectarine spread entries will be accepted at Porter Civic Center from
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Friday, July 15 or Saturday, July 16 by 8:45 a.m.
2. Must be in standard pint or half-pint regulation canning jar. Half-pints preferred.
3. 2 half-pints of the same mixture must be presented for judging. One jar will be
opened and judged. The second jar will be sold at auction.
4. Contents must be in a sealed jar for judging.
5. All entries must be made with fresh peaches and/or nectarines.
6. Prizes will be given for first, second and third place-Winners announced at noon Sat.

1. Peach Jam/Marmalade
2. Peach Preserves/Conserve
3. Peach Jelly
4. Peach Butter
