Art Show & Sale

Join us for the Peach Festival Art Exhibit and Sale in the First Baptist Church of Porter Activity Center.  Artists of all ages are encouraged to exhibit their art  in the competition which will include ribbon and cash awards.  Art does not have to be peach related, however, there is a category devoted to peaches!  Awards will be presented on Thursday night, with viewing open on Friday and Saturday.  Many art pieces can be purchased, with your purchase benefiting the artist and the Porter Lions Club.  You can submit your application online!.

Peach Festival Open Rodeo

You won't want to miss the Open Rodeo, presented by Tulsa Rodeo Association and Diamond S Production, at the Porter Roundup Club Arena on Friday, July 19th at 8:00 PM.  This fun event will feature 10 big rodeo events, including Pony Express Relay Races!  Grab your cowboy hat and head to Porter!  For more info, check out their information.

Mrs. Parnell's Peachy Things Culinary Contest

During 2019, our community lost a dear friend and advocate.  Andrea Parnell was a local educator who loved Porter and the Festival was an integral part of her life for years.  In honor of Andrea's dedication to her community, the annual culinary contests have been revamped to help us preserve her memory.  Mrs. Parnell's Peachy Things Culinary Contest will give you a chance to show off your best recipes and kitchen skills.  Half of the entry fees for this event will be donated to the Andrea Parnell Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Public Tasting Kits will be available on Friday night of the Festival.  Help us make this event a huge success!!  More information is available here.

Car & Bike Show

Got a classic car, truck, bike OR tractor to show off?  Or just like coming and seeing everyone else's?  We are excited that the Wagoner chapter of Riders United 4 Children will once again be sponsoring and presenting the annual Peach Festival Car and Bike Show.  Registration is from 7 to 10 am Saturday morning, with judging and awards presented from 11 to 12.  New this year is a free entry for kids!  Decorate your bicycle, cozy coupe, power wheels, 4 wheeler or go kart and come show it off!  All proceeds from entry fees benefit local families.  See more information here

Local Music & Entertainment

It's hard to beat a great summer concert under the stars!  We have lots of great options for entertainment this year!  Thursday night will see the return of our Porter's Got Talent show at 7:00 on the Main Stage.   Winners will share in cash prizes of $1,000 so get your applications in now.   Taking the stage following the Porter's Got Talent show, will be some guys from just down the road that are perennial favorites at the Festival, Billy Arnett and Boone Mendenhall.   Main Street Martyrs will be playing the Friday night concert, in their first ever appearance at our Festival - these guys are great and we promise that you are going to enjoy their Southern influenced style.  Saturday night will open with Dustin Chadwell, followed by local fan favorites Brothers Rebellion.  Pack your lawn chairs and join us for some or all of these great musical offerings under the stars on Main Street America.   Another fun event you won't want to miss is an exhibition from Classic Gymnastics on Friday at 6:00 pm.

Antique Tractor Pulls

The Antique Tractor Pulls are a long-standing tradition at the Porter Peach Festival.  If you're never experienced a tractor pull, make plans to join us on either Friday or Saturday night at 6:30 PM at the south end of Main Street.  Watching these restored machines showing their stuff is great family fun for all!

Street Games

This is small-town fun at its best.  Join us at 6 PM on Friday and Saturday, when all ages can join in the fun and goofy street games.  A "technology-friendly" scavenger hunt will start off the fun on Saturday evening at 5 PM.  Cash prizes will be awarded for winners and everyone is guaranteed to have fun!

Kid FunZone

We are excited to announce that SummerTime Amusements will be at the 2019 Porter Peach Festival!!  Kids of all ages will love the carnival rides and games!  Tickets will be available at the Festival.  Bring the family and ride the night away!

Arts & Crafts and Food Vendors

You will love browsing the arts and crafts booths at the Peach Festival.  Art pieces, crafts, clothing, soap and candles - truly there is something for everyone here!   When you get hungry, take a break from shopping and enjoy anything your heart desires - BBQ, Indian Tacos, Home Cooking, Hamburgers, Kettle Corn, SnoCones, and of course, lots of Peach Goodness!!

Free Peaches and Ice Cream!!

If you ask anyone what the best part of the Peach Festival is, chances are they will tell you "Free Peaches and Ice Cream"!!  For decades now, the Porter Lions Club, with peaches donated from Livesay Orchards, provides thousands of bowls of free peaches and ice cream to visitors of the town.  It's a great way to beat the heat - so make sure you are at the Fire Station at 1:00 PM on Saturday for the very best way to beat the heat!

Parade

It doesn't get more small-town perfect than a parade!  Everyone is invited to be in the parade, so if your group wants to make a float, you have a cool car, a horse you love to ride in parades, or whatever - show up and join in the fun!  We will start staging around 10 in the school parking lot.

Prize Peach Auction

A lot has changed since the Porter Peach festival began 53 years ago, but one thing remains the same - the desire of the town to provide for civic and community improvements.  The Festival began as a way to raise funds to build the town's Civic Center, still used today, by auctioning off prize peaches from the various orchards.  Today, the Lions Club still auctions off the very best peaches available in Porter, generously donated by Livesay Orchards, to fund its annual community projects.  The auction will take place at noon on Saturday - please join us and loosen up those pocketbooks for a good cause!
