Porter Lions Club

The Porter Lions Club has been responsible for sponsoring the Porter Peach Festival for 57 years now - one of the longest running Festivals in the state!!  The proceeds from the Porter Peach Festival are instrumental to allowing the Lions Club to invest back into its community.  If you would like to join us in our mission, feel free to reach out to an officer or join us for a meeting or two!

Activities of Our Club

  • Recently purchased the land to dedicate as Tourist Park: In Memory of Dan Boyd to be used by the community for years to come

​

  • Coordinate and facilitate the annual Peach Festival

 

  • Sponsor the annual Peach Pageant

 

  • Provide scholarships to graduating seniors from Porter High School who demonstrate a dedication to community service

 

  • Provide eye exam and glasses to individuals with a need of financial assistance

 

  • Sponsor and support local youth programs such as livestock shows, academic programs and sports

​

  • Provides financial literacy and career success programs at Porter High School
     

  • Consructed and support the local Civic Center, Lions Park and the Tractor Club and Soccer Club Fields

​

  • Beautification projects around the community
